Strategic Account Executive (Federal)
What You Will Do
- Build strong and effective relationships with existing customers and new target customers
- Prospect, identify, qualify, and develop a strong pipeline
- Provide exceptional account management and support for existing customers
- Act as “quarterback” with Pre and Post Sales technical resources (full life sales cycle)
- Participate in industry trade shows, using a strategic approach to monetize these events through customer & prospect meetings
- Manage and forecast sales pursuits in Crunchy’s CRM (SalesForce.com)
- 5+ years Federal Sales experience selling or architecting enterprise technology in the federal government sector
- Proven history of full life cycle sales process from inception to execution
- Experience selling in direct and partner models
- Demonstrated knowledge of the US Federal Government market and competitive knowledge opportunities
- Prior experience selling complex software solutions with longer sales cycles
- Ability to prioritize initiatives with a relentless drive to execute
- Persuasive communication skill sand demonstrated ability to establish credibility and trust with customers and to build influential relationships with partners in the business, including Program Management, Finance, Legal, HR, and Technical Teams
- Goal-oriented, with a track record of achievement
- Must be able to travel
- Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in a related field
- Active Security Clearance
- Experience selling software subscriptions/Software as a Service (SAAS)
- Location in the National Capital Region
